Kennedy Center Creates A New, Magical Event. What started out as a little, wonderful idea, magically turned into one of the best and biggest social events of the year. Magic Moments: A Celebration of Magic & Wonder far surpassed everyone’s expectations as a new autism benefit for The Kennedy Center. This memorable evening of drama, fun and excitement was the brainchild of Dr. Pietro Andres and his wife Kristine George Andres of Fairfield.Their team of dedicated volunteers used a dash of ingenuity and a sprinkle of creativity to transform the Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University into a truly magical setting. |

Four Seasons Ball Honored Fred Biebel and Raised $ 48,000. The over 200 guests who gathered at the 42nd Annual Four Seasons Ball had a great time dining and dancing; admiring an unusual collection of new, classic and antique cars; and cheering on racing enthusiasts who did laps around the radio-controlled indoor race track. |

Two Kennedy Center Group Homes Recieve A Makeover From 45 AT&T Employees. Forty-five members of the leadership team senior managers from AT&T Connecticut recently took a vacation day off on Monday, September 18th. Instead of venturing off together to some exotic locale, they volunteered to revamp the grounds of two Kennedy Center group homes in Stratford. Both these residences serve adults with disabilities who live in the community with support from Kennedy Center staff.

Kennedy Center 55th Annual Meeting, Tuesday, April 25, 2006. The Kennedy Center Annual Meeting will begin with a social hour and special program displays from 6 to 7 p.m. Michele Macauda, President and CEO of AT&T of Connecticut, will be the keynote speaker and the recipient of the 2006 Kennedy Center Vision Award. This annual award is given to an individual who has the vision to elevate the human consciousness to believe in the potential of all people.Other highlights of the evening include: the annual business meeting, dinner, and annual consumer and employer awards ceremony. |
