Overview
The Kennedy Center is one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation facilities in the State of Connecticut.
Our staff is highly experienced in developing specialized and individualized plans for children and adults (including seniors) with mental retardation, autism, hearing and visual impairments, speech difficulties, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, psychiactric disabilities and mobility impairments.
Our vocational and job coaching services strengthen partnerships and employment productivity between employers and workers with disabilities and special needs.
A wide variety of vocational, educational, residential and recreational services are available to assist individuals in community inclusion.

 Children Services - works with families to provide community-based services that meet both the family and child's needs. Educational, recreational, and social programs are offered year-round from birth to age 21.
Living Independently - a wide variety of living arrangements tailored to the needs of each person ranging from 24 hour support to independent apartment living and "A Home of One's Own".
Working in the Community - uses person-centered planning to develop counseling, assessment, job placement, job coaching, and follow-up services.
Participating in the Community - our therapeutic services foster opportunities for children, teens, adults, and seniors with disabilities and special needs to have choices related to social, leisure and educational experiences in the communities of their choice.
Behavioral - we maintain a skilled and diverse department of behaviorists, each of whom has a unique background and area of expertise. Working as a team, the Behavioral Services Department is able to offer individualized and creative solutions to many types of behavior problems.
Businesses - offers a variety of individualized vocational and therapeutic programs via our own small businesses that provide a choice of work experiences as well as offering top-quality services to local businesses in the greater Bridgeport area.
